Wisconsin Engagement Session: Amanda + Andrew

October 17, 2017

Amanda + Andrew are one of the sweetest couples around! They booked me a few months ago, just after we announced our move to Missouri and are getting married next July in Wisconsin! Y’all know that I am always looking for an excuse to get back to the land of cheese and Packers! Since my 2017 wedding season is coming to an end and my trips to Wisconsin are getting few and far between, finding time to photograph Amanda and Andrew’s engagement session was priority! Even if it meant waking up at 5 am! I’m telling you, I’ve got the best clients around–always working with my crazy travel schedule to find time for their photo shoots! I am so, SO grateful.

When I met these two last week, at 6:30 am, it was a chilly, brisk morning. There was a touch of light fog and the sun was just starting to come up over the farm where my couple chose to have their engagement session! A sweet older man and woman lived in the beautiful farmhouse on the property, with a small apple orchard and field just out from their home. They greeted us (myself, my couple and my mostly asleep husband) with fresh coffee and homemade pumpkin bread. Like seriously, how amazing is that?! The gentleman even offered us his prized possession–his old car, as a prop during our photoshoot! It was a perfect, quiet morning for a photo shoot and I am thinking that sunrise sessions may just be my new favorite thing.

Amanda & Andrew, I can’t wait to be back to capture your wedding day!! I can only imagine how amazing it will be.
