Four years ago I found myself head over heels in love with a guy who’s first love was cows. And now, 4 years later, here I am, married to the guy and living in America’s Dairyland. It’s weird how I find myself interested in the dairy industry now, asking questions and joining in conversation about things that just a few years ago I had zero interest in. 
Two weekends ago I had the privilege of photographing the 6th annual Garden Party hosted by Dairy Cares of Wisconsin, an organization that Jake and I have been introduced to and now are proud to be a part of. Over 400 people attended this party and over $182,000 was raised to support Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. I love the heart behind this event and the fact that it all started with a couple of friends and their mutual love for the dairy industry.

It was a great honor to be selected as the photographer for this years Garden Party. Not to mention, a great start to my career as a photographer out here in the midwest!
